Abstract:
Provided is a rotation speed control device for a shaft member capable of coping with a possible change in the specification of a device such as a blind comprising a shaft member to be controlled. One-way rotation of the shaft member is transmitted to a housing 13 by a one-way clutch 8, and further to a first transmission gear 17 having second teeth 17b that are engaged with first teeth 13a of the housing 13. Furthermore, the one-way rotation is transmitted to a second transmission gear 18 that rotates together with the first transmission gear 17. One-way rotation of the shaft member transmitted to the second transmission gear 18 is transmitted to a braking member 19 by fourth teeth 19c of the braking member 19 engaged with third teeth 18a of the second transmission gear 18. A brake shoe 21 accommodated in an accommodation space of the braking member 19 is subjected to centrifugal force according to the rotation speed of the braking member 19, and the brake shoe 21 is pressed against an inner circumference 3f of a cap 3 to cause a wall 19g of the accommodation space to exert a force that inhibits the rotation of the braking member 19.
