Abstract:
A rotation-linear motion converting device (10) has: a rack bar (30) in which a rack gear (32) is formed; a housing (40) which surrounds the rack bar (30); a pinion shaft (20) which is inserted in the inside of the housing (40) and provided with a pinion gear (22) that meshes with the rack gear (32); and a support (50) which is provided on a facing surface (41s1) of the housing (40) facing the rack gear (32) and supports the rack bar (30) such that the rack bar (30) is relatively movable in the longitudinal direction of the rack bar (30).
