Provided are a rotating mechanism and a foldable electronic device. The rotating mechanism (100) comprises a first fixed plate (11), a second fixed plate (12), a bearing base (20), a first synchronous swing arm (41), and a second synchronous swing arm (42). The first synchronous swing arm comprises a first swing arm (41a) and a second swing arm (41b), and the first swing arm is detachably connected to the second swing arm. The first swing arm comprises a first swing body (401a), a first connector (402a), and a first spiral body (403a) that are sequentially connected in the width direction of the rotating mechanism. The first swing body is slidably and rotatably connected to the first fixed plate. The second swing arm comprises a second swing body (401b), a second connector (402b), and a second spiral body (403b). The second swing body is slidably and rotatably connected to the second fixed plate, and the first spiral body and the second spiral body are both rotatably connected to the bearing base. The first swing arm and the second swing arm are separable, so that the machining difficulty and the machining cost are reduced, and the machining efficiency is improved.
