Abstract:
Provided are a rotating air bearing assembly and a magnetic fluid seal comprising same. The rotating air bearing assembly comprises: a rotating shaft (11), the rotating shaft having an annular projection (111), and two axial sides of the annular projection extending opposite to each other to form gradually-decreasing circular outer curved surfaces. The rotating air bearing assembly also comprises a first bearing outer ring (10), a radial inner side thereof having a coaxial first circular inner surface (105). The outer periphery of the first bearing outer ring is provided with a first air inlet (103), the first air inlet being in communication with the first circular inner curved surface. The first bearing outer ring is sleeved on the rotating shaft. An outer ring (13) of a second bearing is the identical to the inner ring of the first bearing. The outer ring of the first bearing and the outer ring of the second bearing are coaxially fitted and connected by means of a fastener, so that the first circular inner curved surface, a second circular inner curved surface and the corresponding circular outer curved surface form a rotating pair having a gap. Relative rotation between the rotating shaft and the outer ring of the bearing is frictionless. Furthermore, the rotating shaft has an axial support force because the rotating shaft is effectively supported by the outer ring of the bearing in the axial direction.
