Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a rotary electric machine and a non-contact power generator that have a good magnetic efficiency and little leak of magnetic flux. [Solution] A rotary electric machine 1 is provided with a permanent magnet 2 that is disposed, so as to be rotatable around a first rotary shaft, opposite to and apart from one main surface of a moving body that moves or rotates, wherein at least a portion of one side surface extending to the outer peripheral surface is disposed opposite the one main surface of the moving body. The permanent magnet 2 has: a plurality of magnetic poles 2b that are disposed so as to be separated in the circumferential direction, and are magnetized in alternating orientations along the circumferential direction; and a magnetic flux concentration member 2g that is disposed between the magnetic poles and, by concentrating the magnetic flux from two magnetic poles that are adjacent in the circumferential direction, is oriented in the direction of the moving body 5 or the direction opposite thereto. By means of a reactive force acting on the magnetic flux concentration member on the basis of an eddy current generated in a direction hindering a change in the magnetic flux from the magnetic flux concentration member on the one main surface of the rotary body, the permanent magnet 2 rotates around a first rotary shaft member, and the surface speed of the one side surface of the permanent magnet disposed opposite the moving body is lower than the surface speed of the opposing one main surface of the moving body.
