Abstract:
This rotary construction machine comprises a merge control unit (51) for controlling a merge switching valve so that the merge switching valve is switched to a blocking state when a rotating boom lifting operation is performed. The rotary construction machine comprises a pump capacity control unit (52) for performing capacity control including control to regulate each of a first pump capacity and a second pump capacity so that, when the rotating boom lifting operation is performed, the first pump capacity increases and the second pump capacity decreases as a working pressure difference, which is a value obtained by subtracting a rotation working pressure from a boom working pressure, and so that the first pump capacity decreases and the second pump capacity increases as the working pressure difference decreases.
