Abstract:
Provided is a rolling guide device that makes it possible to directly ascertain the operating condition of a movement member relative to a track member or the circulation status of rolling elements within an endless circulation path, the rolling guide device comprising: a track member (1) having a rolling surface (11); and a movement member (2) that is assembled on the track member with, interposed therebetween, a large number of rolling elements (6) rolling over the rolling surface, and that has an endless circulation path (5) for the rolling elements. The movement member is provided with: a main body member (21) comprising a loaded rolling surface (23) that faces opposite the rolling surface of the track element and constitutes a loaded passage (50) for the rolling elements, and a no-load return passage (51) for the rolling elements; a pair of covers (22A, 22B) that have a direction-changing path (52) for allowing the coming and going of rolling elements between the loaded passage and the no-load return passage, and that are mounted onto the main body member; and a measurement plate (3) that is interposed at least between the main body member (21) and one cover (22B) and constitutes a part of the endless circulation path, and that has a mounting section (32) for a sensor for detecting the operating condition of the movement member relative to the track member.
