Title:
ROLLING-ELEMENT SPLINE HAVING CLAMP FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/150248
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This rolling-element spline having a clamp function allows downsizing of a moving body that moves along a spline shaft, while a spline nut and a clamper nut are firmly integrated with each other. In the rolling-element spline, a moving body (3) that moves along a shaft member (2) is formed by connecting a spline nut (4) and a clamper nut (5) to each other. The spline nut (4) has, at a position that does not overlap a lock region (2B) for the shaft member (2), an endless circulation path (45) for a guide rolling element (22). Meanwhile, a retainer (52) of the clamper nut (5) has an extended fixing part (61) that overlaps the lock region (2B) for the shaft member (2) and that protrudes from one axial end of the clamper nut (5). The extended fixing part (61) is inserted between the spline nut (4) and the shaft member (2), and is fixed to the spline nut (4).
