Abstract:
In this rolling bearing, a plurality of balls interposed between an inner and an outer race are held by a cage, and a seal member (6) that closes off a bearing space between the inner race and the outer race is attached to the outer race. A seal groove (7) is formed in the circumferential direction on the outer circumferential surface of the inner race, and the seal member (6) is a contact seal having a lip (15) that is in contact with the seal groove (7). An outside groove wall surface (7c) of the seal groove (7) is formed on an inclined plane inclined on the outer diameter side toward the outer side in the axial direction. The seal member (6) is formed in a round shape in which a tip (15c) of the lip (15) is in contact with the outside groove wall surface (7c) of the seal groove (7) at a contact angle of 80-100°. The angle of inclination (I) of the outside groove wall surface (7c) with respect to the axial direction is 55-65°.
