Abstract:
This rolling bearing comprises: an outer ring; a plurality of rolling elements that roll on a track surface; and an annular rolling-element fall prevention member that is formed by bending a strip-shaped metal member into a ring shape and welding both ends, and that prevents the rolling elements from falling out to the inner diameter side. The rolling-element fall prevention member includes a plurality of pillar portions, and a connection portion. The connection portion includes a welded portion, a first cut portion, and a second cut portion. Each of the first cut portion and the second cut portion, when seen from an axial direction, is provided within a range of angles between 45° to 315° inclusive from the welded portion, around an axial center. The second cut portion is provided at the position of a window portion located at a position corresponding to 180°, or the position of a window portion adjacent to the window portion located at the position corresponding to 180°, with respect to the position of the first cut portion around the axial center.
