Abstract:
This rolling bearing unit is provided with: an outer ring (1) and inner ring (2); rolling elements (3); an actuating mechanism section (30), which is positioned on the outer side of a bearing space, and of which moving parts between members are lubricated by lubricating oil; a seal member (40) for covering a lubricating oil passage leading from inside the bearing space to the actuating mechanism section (30), the seal member (40) being attached to the outer ring (1), a member fixed to the outer ring (1), the inner ring (2), or a member fixed to the inner ring (2); and filters (46, 47) for trapping contaminants included in the lubricating oil flowing out from the bearing space to the actuating mechanism section (30), the filters (46, 47) being provided to the seal member (40).
