Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a rolling bearing device (11) wherein whether or not an oil supply unit (13) is operating normally can be determined in an assembled state without an overhaul inspection or without bringing out a communication line or the like to the outside. The rolling bearing device comprises a combination of a rolling bearing (11) and an oil supply unit (13) provided with at least a lubricant tank (46), a pump (45) for suctioning a lubricant from the lubricant tank (46) and discharging the lubricant from a discharge opening, a drive unit (44) for driving the pump (45), and a power generation unit (41) for supplying electrical energy to the drive unit (44), the oil supply unit (13) being attached to the securing ring-side member (12b) of the rolling bearing (11) or a spacer (16) adjacent to the rolling bearing, wherein a communication device (49) for transmitting information pertaining to the operation of the oil supply unit (23) to the outside is provided inside the oil supply unit (23).
