Abstract:
A roller bearing comprising a holding member which has a pair of annular portions spaced apart from each other in the axial direction and a plurality of column portions extending in the axial direction and connecting the annular portions to each other and in which a roller is held in each of pockets formed between the adjacent column portions. In the holding member, opposing surfaces of the column portions that face each other along the direction are formed as inclined surfaces so that the pockets expand toward the inner portion side, and when the angle of inclination of the inclined surface is denoted by θ, 20°≤θ≤60° is satisfied.
