Abstract:
This robot system comprises: an end effector that holds a workpiece; an operation unit connected to the end effector to operate the end effector; and a control unit that controls the operation of the operation unit. The control unit controls: a step for operating the end effector to place an object to be pressed on a first plate jig disposed in a set position, and overlapping a second plate jig over the first plate jig after the placing, to thereby assemble a workpiece in the form in which the object to be pressed is sandwiched; and a step for using the end effector to integrally hold the object to be pressed, the first plate jig, and the second plate jig as a workpiece, and transporting the workpiece to a press position for pressing the object to be pressed.
