Abstract:
This electronic device may comprise: a ring-shaped housing having an inner surface onto which a user's finger is inserted; a light-emitting unit configured to emit light from the inside of the housing to the inner surface of the housing through a first region of the inner surface of the housing; a light-receiving unit configured to receive first light, which is a part of the light reflected from the inside of the user's finger, within the housing through a second region of the inner surface of the housing; and a coating layer disposed between the first region and the second region and configured to reflect second light, which is separated from the first light and is the other part of the light, to the user's finger so as to transfer same to the light-receiving unit. Other embodiments are also possible.
