Abstract:
A rigid upper arm model-based method for positioning a functional rotation center of shoulder (FRCS), comprising: step 1: abstracting a human upper arm into a cylinder using an FRCS as the center of the top surface; step 2: determining a reference axial vector of the cylinder; step 3: determining an axial vector of the cylinder and the displacement from the reference axial vector to the axial vector; step 4: correcting the central axis direction of the cylinder; and step 5, determining height compensation of the cylinder to position the FRCS. According to the method for positioning an FRCS, the accuracy of the FRCS positioning result is higher, and the stability of the FRCS positioning result is good with respect to the upper arm and the trunk; thus, the method can be used for establishing a more accurate human digital dynamic model and performing more accurate human pose estimation.
