Abstract:
In order to reverse the direction of rotation of the rotors of size-reduction machines, a drive motor system (26, 28) is connected to the rotor system (26, 28) via a rotation-direction reversing transmission (70). The control of the rotation-direction reversing transmission (70) is carried out similarly to how it was carried out before the direction of rotation was reversed, namely by changing the supply of the drive motor system, i.e. for example by monitoring the supply power drawn by the drive motor system.
