[Problem] To realize a reverse input cutoff clutch structure that enables smooth switching from a locked or semi-locked state to an unlocked state when rotational torque is inputted to an input member. [Solution] The present invention comprises: a compression-receiving member that has a compression-receiving face 20 on an inner circumferential surface thereof; an input member that has an input-side engaging part 8 disposed radially inward of the compression-receiving face 20, and that is disposed coaxial to the compression-receiving face 20; an output member that has an output-side engaging part 11, disposed further radially inward than the input-side engaging part 8, radially inward of the compression-receiving face 20, and that is disposed coaxial to the compression-receiving face 20; and an engaging element 5 disposed radially inward of the compression-receiving face 20 so as to be capable of moving in a first direction that is a direction of approach/retreat with respect to the compression-receiving face 20. The engaging element 5 comprises a ring member 31 and an engaging element body 30 that has a compressing face 32 and a swinging support shaft 33. The ring member 31 has a first end swingably linked to the swinging support shaft 33, and a second end swingably linked to the input-side engaging part 8.
