Abstract:

[Problem] To achieve a structure of a reverse input blocking clutch that enables smooth switching from a locked or semi-locked state to an unlocked state when rotational torque is inputted to input members. [Solution] A reverse input blocking clutch comprising: a pressed member having a pressed surface 20; input members having input-side engagement parts 8; an output member having an output-side engagement part 11; and engagement elements 5. Each engagement element 5 includes an engagement element main body 30 and a linkage member 31. Each engagement element main body 30 includes a pair of main body plates 40a, 40b, and a pivoting support shaft 33. Each pair of main body plates 40a, 40b has a pair of pressing surfaces 32a, 32b, and an output-side mating engagement part 34. The pressing surface 32a is included in the main body plate 40a. The pressing surface 32a is included in the main body plate 40b. Each linkage member 31 has a first end pivotally coupled to the corresponding pivoting support shaft 33 and a second end pivotally coupled to the corresponding input-side engagement part 8.
