Abstract:
A retaining nut, a retaining washer, and a retaining bolt. An inclined surface (2) is provided on a nut (1) or on a washer (5). By screwing the nut (1) or a jam nut (3), the nut (1) fits to a surface of a workpiece (4), or an end surface of the jam nut (3) contacts the inclined surface (2), such that an internal thread of the nut (1) or the jam nut (3) and an external thread on a screw or on a bolt engage and elastically deform, and an engagement force between the internal thread of the nut (1) or the jam nut (3) and the external thread on the screw or on the bolt is increased, thereby achieving retaining. The inclined surface (2) can also be provided on a bolt head (6) of the retaining bolt. When the retaining bolt is mounted on the workpiece (4), the inclined surface (2) contacts the surface of the workpiece (4) or the washer, such that an external thread of the bolt body (7) of the retaining bolt and an internal thread on the workpiece (4) engage and elastically deform, and an engagement force between the external thread of the bolt body (7) of the retaining bolt and the internal thread of the workpiece (4) is increased, thereby achieving retaining.
