Abstract:
[Problem] There exists a need to develop technology that can make it difficult for packing to separate from a conventional relief valve. [Solution] A relief valve 10 according to the present embodiment comprises: a base section 11 comprising a valve hole 13 and a valve seat sealing member 21 that surrounds the valve hole 13; a valve body 35 comprising, on an outer edge thereof, an annular contact section 35D that reciprocates while facing the valve hole 13 and that approaches and separates from the valve seat sealing member 21; an annular protruding section 18 provided to an inner edge of the base section 11, having an outer side to which the valve seat sealing member 21 is fitted, and having an inner side which forms the valve hole 13. The distal end surface of the annular protruding section 18 is flush with the inner edge section of the valve seat sealing member 21 or is located further forward in the protruding direction of the annular protruding section 18.
