Abstract:
A refrigerator. In the refrigerator, a damping device (200) is provided between a refrigerator door and a door frame (114). The damping device (200) comprises a housing (210), a piston (220), a force-bearing rod (240) and a piston spring (250), wherein the housing (210) is configured with a liquid storage cavity, and a first end of the liquid storage cavity is provided with a transmission hole; the piston is slidably arranged in the liquid storage cavity, and divides the liquid storage cavity into a first cavity (223) and a second cavity (224), and the piston (220) is provided with a connection hole (221); a first end of the force-bearing rod (240) is connected to the piston (220), and a second end thereof passes through the transmission hole to extend outwards, the force-bearing rod (240) is slidably connected to the transmission hole in a sealed manner, and, during the process of closing the refrigerator door, the force-bearing rod (240) drives, under the action of an external force, the piston (220) to move from a first position to a second position, and liquid in the second cavity (224) flows to the first cavity (223) through the connection hole (221); and the piston spring (250) is arranged between a second end of the liquid storage cavity and the piston (220), and, after the external force on the force-bearing rod (240) disappears, the piston spring (250) drives the piston (220) to return from the second position to the first position, and liquid in the first cavity (223) flows to the second cavity (224) through the connection hole (221). The vibration and noise when the refrigerator is being closed can be effectively reduced, and appropriate damping can be provided in an adaptive manner so that the refrigerator door is slowly closed and fitted to the door frame to provide a seal.
