Abstract:
This refrigerator comprises: a user interface; a temperature sensor that detects the temperature outside the refrigerator; a cooling unit that controls the temperature inside the refrigerator; a memory storing one or more instructions; and one or more processors that execute the one or more instructions, wherein the one or more instructions include obtaining type information regarding an object in the refrigerator and current temperature information regarding the object, comparing the current temperature of the object with a first temperature on the basis of the type information and the current temperature information, when the current temperature of the object is identified as being higher than the first temperature, identifying, on the basis of a first set temperature inside the refrigerator, a first time required for the temperature of the object in the refrigerator to reach the first temperature, when the current temperature of the object is identified as being lower than the first temperature, identifying, on the basis of the temperature outside the refrigerator, a second time required for the temperature of the object to reach the first temperature after the object is taken out of the refrigerator, and providing a notification when it is identified that at least one of the first time and the second time has elapsed.
