Abstract:
Provided is recording paper that exhibits high adhesion between a print receiving layer and an ink and a base material, and that is not susceptible to blocking. The recording paper has a base material and a print receiving layer on the base material. The print receiving layer contains an inorganic filler and a carboxyl group-containing resin having an acid value of 2-20 mgKOH/g. The arithmetic mean roughness Ra of the surface of the base material on the side of the print receiving layer is 0.3-1.0 μm.
