Title:
RECOMBINANT CELL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING RECOMBINANT CELL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANIC COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/094053
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A recombinant cell characterized by: having a function of synthesizing acetyl-CoA from methyltetrahydrofolic acid, carbon monoxide and CoA; carrying a gene that expresses an exogenous NAD(P)H consumption pathway, said gene being expressed in the recombinant cell; the expression of at least one endogenous NAD(P)H consumption pathway held by the recombinant cell being down-regulated, said endogenous NAD(P)H consumption pathway being different from the exogenous NAD(P)H consumption pathway; and being capable of producing an organic compound having four or more carbon atoms, through the exogenous NAD(P)H consumption pathway, from at least one member selected from the group consisting of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
