Abstract:
An engine (40) provided with a piston (2), a top ring (3) and a second ring (4) fitted together over the piston (2), defining members (9) and (10) fitted on the piston (2) for connecting the top ring (3) to the second ring (4) so as to form a gas chamber (8) on the side of the piston (2), and a gas passage (15) for setting up communication between the gas chamber (8) and the upper surface (7) of the piston.
