Title:
RECEIVER APPARATUS, IMAGE SIGNAL ATTENUATING METHOD, AND MISMATCH COMPENSATING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/073720
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The degree of removal of unwanted component signals can be improved using a small area without the need for using any high frequency signal source.  IF band simulated image signals (IM-I, IM-Q) outputted by an IF band simulated image signal generating unit (12) are inputted to a quadrature mixer (14) via a path switch (13).  The signals (IM-I, IM-Q) are then outputted by the quadrature mixer (14) to a complex filter (16) via feed-through, and then outputted by the complex filter (16) to an amplitude determining unit (17), which determines the amplitudes of the signals (IM-I, IM-Q).  An element value control unit (18) then controls, based on the determined amplitudes, the element values of the constituent elements of the complex filter (16) in such a manner that the amplitudes become smaller.
