Abstract:
Provided is a reaction system capable of synthesizing an intended product with a high yield while avoiding denaturing of a heat-sensitive compound, by removing byproducts without applying heat and without using a solid adsorbent material. This reaction system has a reaction unit 100 and a byproduct removal unit 200. The reaction unit 100 houses a reaction solution a which contains at least a reaction material. In the reaction unit 100, a reaction that produces an intended product and byproducts from the reaction material occurs. The byproduct removal unit 200 has a structure in which an induction solution and a reaction solution are brought into contact with each other through a forward osmosis membrane. In the byproduct removal unit, byproducts are removed from the reaction solution.
