Abstract:
The present invention relates to a Rankine cycle system having a liquid recirculation channel and a method for controlling the system and, more specifically, to a Rankine cycle system having a liquid recirculation channel, the Rankine cycle system comprising: a pump which discharges a working fluid; an evaporator which evaporates the working fluid discharged from the pump by a heat supplied from a heat medium; a vapor/liquid separator which separates vapor and liquid from the working fluid discharged from the evaporator; an expander which allows the vapor separated by the vapor/liquid separator to be introduced thereto and expands same; a generator which generates electricity by rotatory power of the expander; a condenser which condenses the working fluid discharged from the generator; and a liquid recirculation pipe which introduces the liquid separated at the vapor/liquid separator into a portion between a front end of the evaporator and the pump, wherein the vapor/liquid separator is installed at the same level or higher than the position of an outlet of the evaporator.
