Abstract:
A ranging device (1) according to the present disclosure comprises a light emitting element (2), a first lens (21), a light receiving element (3), a second lens (22), and a substrate (20). The light emitting element (2) irradiates a subject (X) with light. The first lens (21) is disposed on the optical axis of the light emitting element (2). The light receiving element (3) receives light from the light emitting element (2) that has been reflected by the subject (X). The second lens (22) is disposed on the optical axis of the light receiving element (3). The substrate (20) has the light emitting element (2) and the light receiving element (3) mounted thereon. Among the first lens (21) and the second lens (22), the thinner lens is disposed further from the substrate (20) than is the thicker lens.
