Abstract:
A combiner drive device for moving a combiner (20A) of a head-up display or the like, wherein a spur gear (1) and a composite rack (2) operate smoothly together. The composite rack (2) is composed of a linear rack (21), an external gear (22), and an internal gear (23). The shape of a side surface (2A1) of a shared tooth (2A) at the boundary of the linear rack (21) and the external gear (22) is substantially the same as the shape of the other teeth of the linear rack (21). The other side surface (2A2) has substantially the same shape as the other teeth of the external gear (22). The shape of a side surface (2B1) of a shared tooth (2B) at the boundary of the external gear (22) and the internal gear (23) is substantially the same as the shape of the other teeth of the external gear (22). The other side surface (2B2) has substantially the same shape as the other teeth of the internal gear (23).
