Abstract:
The present invention relates to a quick-release valve used in a vacuum system and a vacuum pump apparatus comprising same. The release valve comprises a sliding valve member operated by air pressure, which is configured so that a vacuum flow path is completely blocked and a release flow path is formed simultaneously by means of the sliding. As a result, the valve and the apparatus according to the present invention can provide compressed air for vacuum release directly to a pad, and have the advantages of improving energy efficiency and release speed compared to existing vacuum release techniques in which compressed air is supplied to a vacuum pump or to surrounding areas.
