Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for pulsed compression of gas, comprising a housing (1) covering a cylindrical chamber (2) parted into two cavities (3, 4) by a free piston (5) located inside said chamber (2) and designed to move back and forth. The inventive device also comprises openings for air impingement (6, 7) provided on the sidewall of the chamber (2), as well as the main gas distributor (10), which resembles a slotted valve.
