In the present invention, when pulling out a wire harness, which has been inserted through a metal pipe, from one end and inserting the wire harness through a corrugated tube, damage to the wire harness is prevented, said damage being caused when electric wires of the wire harness come into contact with an end edge of the metal pipe, and an end section of the corrugated tube is allowed to be reliably positioned and fixed easily. An edge cover section for covering the end edge of the metal pipe is provided at an intermediate position in the axial direction of a protector, a substantially cylindrical section which extends from the edge cover section to one end of the protector in the axial direction is used as a metal pipe engagement section to be fitted into one end of the metal pipe, a substantially cylindrical section which extends from the edge cover section to the other end of the protector in the axial direction is used as a corrugated tube engagement section to be fitted into one end of the corrugated tube, and a corrugated section is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the corrugated tube engagement section so as to be engaged with valley and peak parts provided on an end section of the corrugated tube.
