Abstract:

[Problem] The objective of the invention is to prevent, in a protective cover having a sensor holder part and having a partition wall between a magnetic encoder and a magnetic sensor, defects from gas burns or short shot from occurring in the partition wall, without decreasing the yield of the protective cover. [Solution] The invention is a cup-shaped protective cover to be attached to an outer ring in such a manner as to seal the inward edge portion of a bearing. The protective cover 1 includes a synthetic resin disk part 2 and a synthetic resin sensor holder part protruding inward from the disk part 2. Formed on the disk part 1 is a partition wall 5 that forms a partition between the magnetic encoder and the magnetic sensor. Present on the partition wall 5 surface facing the magnetic encoder or on the partition wall surface facing the magnetic sensor, is a mark M from an injection mold gas-venting pin.
