Abstract:
A protective cover unit (17, 26) including a main cover (17) for partly covering an aperture (16) for access to brake linings which is accommodated in a disc brake yoke (5) for a disc brake, whereby the main cover (17) includes means for fastening to a U-bolt-shaped lining holder (18) which is connected to the brake yoke and runs transversely across the aperture, said main cover being designed to abut (36) against a portion of the brake yoke’s outer surface which at least partly surrounds the aperture (16).
