Abstract:
This projection lens system projects a reduction-side image on an enlargement side of an image projection device. The projection lens system is provided with ten or more single lenses constituting a zoom lens including a plurality of movable lens groups. The projection lens system has the diameter IMG of an effective image circle that satisfies 2.5 < Tp/IMG with respect to the length Tp of a transmission optical system disposed on the reduction side of the image projection device. A positive lens, the maximum height H of an on-axis ray of which satisfies 0.5 < |H/D| < 1.0, satisfies 0.01 < Td/D < 0.05 with regard to the outer diameter D and thickness Td at the end of the positive lens.
