Abstract:
This profile connector is used when vertically directing a second profile that has a hollow shape and comprises a gripped part on the outer circumferential surface thereof to a first profile that similarly has a hollow shape and comprises a gripped part on the outer circumferential surface thereof, so as to connect and fix the first and second profiles together. The profile connector is made of a pair of connector elements detachably combined together, and one connector element among the pair of connector elements has a through-hole bored therein, while the other connector element is provided with a female threaded part. The pair of connector elements are combined together, and a bolt is threaded into the female thread part through the through-hole to fasten the pair of connector elements. This causes the gripped part of the outer circumferential surface of the first profile to be held at one end side of each of the connector elements, and the second profile to be held at the other end side of each of the connector elements, thereby connecting the first profile and the second profile.
