Abstract:
This processing method includes: hydrolyzing MgH2 and generating H2 and MgO or Mg(OH)2 through a procedure for releasing energy; causing the generated MgO or Mg(OH)2 to absorb CO2 and generating MgCO3; applying heat to the generated MgCO3, isolating the CO2, and generating MgO; acquiring Mg for generating MgH2 through thermal reduction or molten salt electrolysis of the generated MgO; and immobilizing the Co2 in place or using the same through carbon recycling.
