Abstract:
A process for producing a heavy-metal-mediated biochar complex cured by using a silicate. The process involves using Hydrocharis dubia to adsorb heavy metals such as lead, manganese and zinc contained in sewage to the roots, stems, and leaves thereof, subjecting same to staged pyrolysis with activated red mud and bentonite at a high temperature, and then blending the pyrolysis product with zeolite to prepare a heavy-metal-mediated biochar complex.
