Abstract:
Provided is a press-fitting jig for cover caps of bolt mounting holes provided in a track rail of a guide device, the jig being capable of continuously press-fitting the cover caps and straightly press-fitting the cover caps into bolt mounting holes without inclining the cover caps. The jig for press-fitting cover caps (70) into bolt mounting holes (11) provided in a track rail (1) of a guide device is mounted on a moving block (2), which is assembled to the track rail (1) with a plurality of rolling bodies therebetween and moves on the track rail (1), and is provided with: a finishing surface (94) which slidably contacts an upper surface, in which the bolt mounting holes (11) are opened, of the track rail (1); and a guiding surface (95) which is adjacent to the finishing surface (94), forms a wedge-like space (96) with the track rail (1) in the longitudinal direction of the track rail (1), and press-fits the cover caps (70) temporally positioned on the bolt mounting holes (11) into the bolt mounting holes (11) in conjunction with the movement of the moving block (2).
