Abstract:
The present invention specifically relates to the technical field of positive electrode materials of lithium ion batteries. Disclosed are a preparation method for a high-nickel positive electrode material of a lithium ion battery, and a high-nickel positive electrode material of a lithium ion battery prepared thereby. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing a high-nickel ternary positive electrode material precursor, a lithium salt, a phosphorus-containing additive and a metal oxide additive; (2) putting the mixed material into a sagger, then putting the sagger into a high-temperature and high-pressure device for sintering, and naturally cooling after sintering; and (3) grinding and sieving the cooled material to obtain the positive electrode material. There are following beneficial effects: by mixing the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material precursor, the lithium salt, the phosphorus-containing additive and the metal oxide additive according to special proportions, performing sintering at a low temperature, and then performing sintering at a high temperature, the present invention can obtain a high-nickel positive electrode material having low residual lithium, a low pH value and a low specific surface area, the technological process is greatly simplified, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
