Abstract:
Disclosed are a preparation method for a copper-based hydrogenation catalyst, the catalyst prepared therefrom, and a use thereof. Activated carbon is subject to impregnation treatment with an acid liquor and an alkali liquor in sequence, then being added to an ethanol-water mixed solution containing a copper salt and a lithium salt for impregnation and aging. Then, after drying and roasting, the copper-based hydrogenation catalyst is obtained, composed of: 3-10wt% of copper(II) oxide, 0.3-3wt% of lithium oxide, and the remainder activated carbon. The present catalyst has excellent framework strength and pore size distribution, good mass and heat transfer effects, and also advantages of high activity, high dispersion of active components, high anti-sintering ability, and active ingredients being not easily lost, thus suitable for the industrial production of acetophenone hydrogenation to prepare α-phenylethanol.
