Abstract:
A chain saw comprises an oil tank (100) and an oil cap (42). The oil cap (42) is provided with a cap body (43) and a valve element (75). The cap body (43) has a communication path (67) for connecting the inside and the outside of the oil tank (100). The valve element (75) is mounted to the cap body (43) to cover the communication path (67). The valve element (75) is a sheet-like member constructed from an elastomer. The valve element (75) has a swollen section (75a) and a protrusion section (75b). The swollen section (75a) is curved in a dome shape. The protrusion section (75b) protrudes from the swollen section (75a) and has a slit (75c) at the top thereof.
