Title:
POWER-TRANSMITTING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/156166
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This power-transmitting mechanism is provided with: a drive-side rotating body (15d) which has an inner cylinder section (15b) having a female thread (15a) formed on the inner peripheral surface thereof; and a driven-side rotating body (22) having a male thread affixed to the female thread by thread connection. The inner cylinder section has a thick-walled section (15e) and a thin-walled section (15f), which have different wall thicknesses, and the inner cylinder section is configured so that, when torque to be transmitted exceeds a predetermined torque level, the female thread rotates relative to the male thread and the thin-walled section breaks to prevent the transmission of power from the drive-side rotating body to the driven-side rotating body. Friction coefficient stabilizing films (30) are formed on: sloped surfaces of the female thread and/or the male thread, the sloped surfaces being on the sides thereof where surface pressure increases when torque to be transmitted exceeds the predetermined torque level and the male thread rotates relative to the female thread; and the sloped surfaces on the reverse sides of the sloped surfaces where the surface pressure increases. The thickness of the friction coefficient stabilizing films which are formed on the sloped surfaces on the reverse sides of the sloped surfaces where the surface pressure increases is less than the thickness of the friction coefficient stabilizing films which are formed on the sloped surfaces where the surface pressure increases.
