Abstract:
This power transmitting device is provided with: a rotation transmitting member which is mounted on a vehicle and which transmits power transmitted from a drive source to an input shaft; a power connection switching mechanism connected to or disconnected from the drive source and the rotation transmitting member; and an oil pump to which the rotation of either a first rotating shaft positioned further toward the drive source side than the power connection switching mechanism, or a second rotating shaft positioned further toward the drive wheel side than the power connection switching mechanism is selectively transmitted, and which is rotated by the transmitted rotation. The oil pump is connected to the second rotating shaft through a gear power transmitting mechanism in which a plurality of gears mesh with each other. A first rotation ratio between the first rotating shaft and the oil pump and a second rotation ratio between the second rotating shaft and the oil pump are different.
