Abstract:

Provided is a power transmission device with which the transmission capacity when engine braking occurs can be changed as desired without changing the transmission capacity during acceleration.　A second clutch member (4b) has a dividing wall part (4bb) that separates drive-side clutch plates (6a–6c) and driven-side clutch plates (7a–7c) in an axial direction to form a first region (α) on a side having a pressure member (5) and a second region (β) on a side having a centrifugal clutch means (9). When the centrifugal clutch means (9) is actuated, the drive-side clutch plates (6a–6c) and the driven-side clutch plates (7a–7c) in the first region (α) and the second region (β) are pressed against each other, and when a cam for transmitting back torque is actuated, the drive-side clutch plates (6a–6c) and the driven-side clutch plates (7a–7c) in the first region (α) are pressed against each other.
