Abstract:
Provided is a power transmission device which allows a centrifugal clutch means to be disposed in an arbitrarily defined point of a clutch housing where a mounting part is formed, improves operations during the installation of the centrifugal clutch means, and enables a better movement of an urging member that is linked with the movement of a weight member. The power transmission device comprises a centrifugal clutch means 9 including a holding member 11 and an urging member 12, wherein the holding member 11 and the urging member 12 have a plurality of projecting sections (11d, 12d) formed thereon along a circumferential direction and are each installed by fittedly mounting the projecting sections to a cutout 2a in a clutch housing 2, the holding member 11 forms an integrated unit N in which the holding member 11 is integrated with a weight member 10 held thereon, and the integrated unit N and the urging member 12 are unconnected, distinct components that can be independently brought closer to or move away from each other.
