Abstract:
Rotation resistance can be imparted by a clutch spring against relative rotation of a pressure member relative to a clutch member, and the impact or knocking sound when a cam surface in a pressure-contact-assisting cam or a back-torque-limiting cam comes into contact can be minimized without using a specialized separate member. This power transmission device comprises a clutch spring 8 of which one end 8a slides on a surface 10a of a restricting member 10 while a side surface is held across a longitudinal direction to generate rotation resistance when a pressure member rotates relative to the clutch member due to the clearance of the cam surface in the pressure-contact-assisting cam or the back-torque-limiting cam.
