Abstract:
This power transmission device comprises a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic pressure motor, a compound planetary gear mechanism, and first to third clutches that connect a compound planetary gear and a traveling device to each other. The compound planetary gear mechanism comprises: a sun gear configured to rotate about a first rotary axis by the hydraulic pressure motor; a ring gear configured to rotate about the first rotary axis by an engine; a first planetary gear configured to engage with the sun gear and the ring gear and rotate about the first rotary axis; a second planetary gear configured to engage with the first planetary gear and rotate about the first rotary axis; a carrier configured to pivotably support the first planetary gear and the second planetary gear and rotate about the first rotary axis; and a driven gear configured to engage with the second planetary gear and rotate about a second rotary axis coaxial with the first rotary axis.
